fishing photos

A quick reminder when taking photos on a boat. Try turning the flash on. There have been some great photos posted lately, and with the aid of a flash turned out even better. A good example is Mako Magic's marlin, with a flash lighting up his face and the fish it would have captured the special moment even more (Still a great photo). Its easy to get caught in the moment, but try a few photos when the fish are not biting. Then when the big one bites the camera is ready to get that great shot of a life time.

Pete D's photo's of the weekend are perfect examples of playing with the camera settings, its well worth it when it 'creates' the photo.

Nice little camera you have there Jody, before your trip go to a camera shop(not harvey norman lol) and ask them to show you how to use the flash(fill flash is what you need), they will be more than happy to show you.
