Hi i was just wanting to know a few good good land fishing spots in the Swan River and what type of baits, lures & soft plastics you have had success with?
I caught 4 undersized Bream under Canning bridge the other night just using river prawns!
cheers..

try between bicton baths and
try between bicton baths and the carpark before blackwall reach, along there is some nice flatties and flounder. I had some luck on soft plastics I think they were bushies pink ones, but any should work, choose a jig head that is heavy enough to reach bottom reasonably fast enough, but not heavy enough that it hardly bounces when you retrieve. didn't have any luck on hardbodies. try casting into sandy patches and into the patches of small short weed that grows on the bottom, not the big tall floating patches.
Or try fishing inbetween the boats at the swan yacht club, I find at dusk, there is whiting, flathead, small tailor, bream, herring, and sometimes some small kingfish.
Good luck!
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.

when I said between biton
when I said between biton baths and the car park, don't actualy fish at bicon baths, walk north along the shore casting in likely looking patches until you reach another small jetty, which is just before black wall reach.
