One of my fave places to fish for sure. Bream, whiting, snapper, skippy, giant herring and that's before you get outof the inlet. I'm there for a week around Chrissie.

Yep
Pretty sure you are allowed to wake board, not 100% thou. Personally I wouldn't wake board in the Walpole inlet as theres a fair few shallow banks. Out in the middle of the Nornalup you'll be fine thou. Another good place to try for a fish is Snake Island, Skippy rock or the Colemine flats. We tried skurfing or were being silly buggers in the channel about 15 years ago, ended up seizing the motor just before dark and whilst Spooled sat there in the boat I had to swim to Colemine to get help. Onya spooled, good thing we didnt have keys to forget back then. :)
Heres a nice blackie from one of the spots that have been mentioned.

Wake Borading
Why Swim when you can just fish and wait for Adam to swim to the other side of the inelt. Plus we stalled close to a good whiting spot. Happy days!!!! hehehehehe I recall that being your boat as well Ads, maybe its just easier losing keys then you wouldn't even get into these scenrios. hehehe.
As for the wake boarding the middle of the Nornalup inlet you will be fine. Gets quite deep in areas just steer clear of the sides of the inlet. Coalmine beach is a good place to leave from though but just make sure you head out a bit. Mostly sand in close but some rough ground bit further out but to deep for you to worry about.

Gutters
I felt sorry for Michael that day and gave him one of mine to hold onto. Reference thumbnail above. Fish the weedy patches and little gutters on the side of sand banks. Silver bream and blackies run up and down them all day.

Salmon Trout
The olds were down there last weekend, said theres so many salmon trout they were almost jumping in the boat. When I was down a few weeks back I was using a little skitter popper and there were hundreds fighting for who was going to take it first. In the end I just snapped the rusty hooks off and watched them smash the lure, was awesome. Gonna head down a few times over the chrissie/new years period.
