Fishwrecked Xmas Drinks
Submitted by big john on Mon, 2009-11-30 17:17
Another year goes by, another season turns,
still this feeling inside me burns .....
Anyone know the artist?
What's up with the annual fishwrecked Xmas drinks this year Adam, you going to be in Perth over the break?
I won't be able to make it for the Friday before Xmas if you have it then, but would be keen to catch up with some crew between xmas and new years.

We have a winner.
Yeah mate, I'll take you out but the weather's real iffy over the xmas holidays. Probably be in Perth for a fair chunk of it though. Let's think about sometime in Term 1 for an overnighter or in the April hol's if your keen.
Anyone else keen to catch up? Last few years its been at the Wembley Pub but I'll wait to hear from Adam if he's keen.

Shame
Be a shame if it doesn't go ahead but I'd be keen to catch up between Xmas and New Years regardless. If something isn't planned I'll PM individuals who have expressed an interest and set a date/venue.
You bring the 'sugo' rosco, I'll chase up some 'olio'.

I was thinking about
I was thinking about fishermans hollow up in yanchep, next to the lagoon shop, has a playground for the kids ,toilets, bbq's,lights, and a large grassed area for anyone that wants to stay over in tent or swag ,its right on the beach you could bring up the fishing gear and all hit the lagoon the next morning for a quick fish, just a thought.

Rotto?
Boat it over to Rotto on the 27th for a lunch time meet up and stay the night if you wish. We can have a FW'd raft up in one of the bays. I'll be there, Soupster will be there (day tripper)...as a starter.
Cheers Pete

Im keen for a christmas drink
What about a bbq on the south perth foreshore? Pretty central for everyone, just bring some drinks/food and probably set.
If you go to rotto, makes it hard for anyone without a boat else they have to scam a ride or take the ferry. Also a overnighter at Yanchep might be even harder as sherbs said with the christmas functions already planned.
Ill try to attend whatever is organised anyway. I might be at Rotto on the 27th anyway for a few days.
