fixed broken rod

hi all,
Just a quick follow up on the following link.

Since i broke the rod, i manage to order in another unit and it have just arrive today. Also at the same time, got the broken rod "fix".
The left is the fix unit and the right is the new unit. not a bad job done huh?

yah... u r right, the guy
yah... u r right, the guy who fixed the rod did told me that it will not be able to take as much load as it used to else it would just SNAP again.. but it does look pretty yah?

just that the workmanship of the repair surprised me. almost did not noticed it.
