definently worth a look. they give fishwrecked members great service and pretty good prices as i experienced earlier this week. they got my outboard in for a service with only 2 days notice when all other yards had a min 1-2 week waiting list.

I've had my boat serviced there over the past few years and will continue to use them - service was excellent and friendly with fair pricing.

Boat Service

Wed, 2009-10-28 15:27

Men On Boats: Is your service as bad as Estuary Marine or better if you are better then I will bring my boat to your place next time around.

My experiance with Estuary Marine yesterday was the worst I ever encountered!

Picked up my boat from Estuary Marine yesterday after paying $770 for a 100hr service when I went around the back it had a flat tyre 1 x battery missing one speaker cover broken and when I opened the lid the motor was not even cleaned and the oil filter still loose wont use this yamaha dealer again.

Anti Dealer support!

Well I paid before I saw the boat since they were still buzy finishing off on it when I popped in to see how they are after it's been their the day before.

I only went over it once they pushed it outside. I went back in and asked about it when they said sorry not their problem but they sell batteries for $250 and up if I want one.

The mechanic came out later and told me while he climed off the boat he stepped on the valve of the tyre and broke it thats why it had a flat. I been on and off boats since I was 9yrs old never seen anyone step on the valve when theirs a ladder and step.

So the service has now cost me $769 plus the valve from Tyre joint $15 and now a battery at BCF $200 also

Never will I use them again thats for sure.

Interesting read

Wed, 2009-10-28 20:25

I have spoken to more than one other person (not on this site) who have had major issues with Estuary Marine and their service or lack of it as it was put to me, not to mention the attitudes.... Not good.
