Fisinhg places for a beginner to try

Hi, My name is Darcy and I am 8yo and live in Perth Hills.  I want to learn about fishing and try to catch a fish over easter. I've only been beach fishing once before with my Mum - one fish only for a few hours was boring.  Can anyone suggest where is good fun place for a beginner fisherman like me.  Thank-you, Darcy.

The e shed is the markets in Fremantle port at the mouth of the swan river.

Google map Victoria quay and the wharf at the A Shed is the spot to fish.

But it gets very busy on the weekends and can be a messy tangle if not carefull
