hello all ,
just recently did the big move to Broome from porthedland and decided to go to the fitzroy river and try and get myself a fitzroy barra . But no luck. i was just flicking around a few barra classics does anyone know what colours the seem to go for up this way? or what i might have been doing wrong?

barra
probably would suggest that you do not forget the hards..... last time we were up around willare , camballin, talligraph pool etc we found that the rmg in bright pink went well aswell as the barra classic in bleeding mullet and guns n roses , at night we would switch to fizzers and have a blast .

try live cherabin if you are
try live cherabin if you are not too fussed about how you catch your barra, should be plenty in the river, fished under a float so they dont walk under a snag, good luck

Just keep trying mate,
Just keep trying mate, experiment with different lures and retrieves. What works one day might not work the next. Maybe you were doing everything right and the fish just weren't on the bite. You'll suss it soon enough.
I live with fear every day... sometimes she lets me go fishing.
