should be a good year on the flatties in the river this year. went out for a flick yesterday lunch time and ended up with 9 flatties and seen a few small flounder following the lure. went breaming last week with a mate and ended up with a few flatties as by catch.
there everywhere!

nice work,
Plenty of big flathead around.
Pulled out a 54 saturday morning while breaming. Hopefully its another big season, last year was just ridiculous and this year is looking just as good.
Get some of those 4 inch minnows out for the big girls.

40cm+
Just remember that anything over 40cm is more than likely a breeding stock female. It'd be wise to return them safely to the water after a quick snap. Plenty of smaller models around by the sound of it.
