flattys are going crazy!

the river is chockers with flatties ATM. I must have spooked nearly 20 yesterday while walking the shallows on low tide. I was in knee deep water and the flatties were between me and the bank. also got some today and kept a 35cm model for lunch.

today I was walking around
today I was walking around the flats near the sterling bridge and catching a few but yesterday I was on the other side near the left bank. I recon im going to get the snorkel gear out and have a bit of a look around, never know I might even snag a few second hand lures.

just teach them to slowly
just teach them to slowly wind, the way young kids wind a reel and rod is still a bit awkward anyways so that itself will impart the action? and use like a wriggle tail type grub, should be a winner,
only prob may be the green weed?
