FNQ report
Submitted by Bunny on Sun, 2015-05-10 13:34
It's been a while since I posted so figured it was time for an update. We got into some nice Large Mouth Nannygai recently with some good eating Gold Spot cod as well. They were not biting well and most fish fell to live baits or a well presented flesh bait, usually with the tail still on. The Hussar fillets once again proved the trick. We tried a new hook also. The PE tackle reefmaster Deep V hooks. The went well and very happy with the resutls. Pictured is one against a Gamkatsu Octopus 10/0.

Quality as usual Bunny, you
Quality as usual Bunny, you must do some miles in that rig of yours, heard those hooks are good and they do some big flies for bottom fishing that are meant to be pretty effective too, I'm still using tanaiwas and big bait circles but always like to try different gear.

Bloody hell
Where did you say you caught those, seriously some very very good fish there well done. The fillets of those would equal a side of a bollock.

Thanks guys. These fish are coming from close to home so we are not travelling far. I tend to do a mix of day and night although it's been a while since I did a full night chasing Red Emperor etc.
Might be time to do one!

Horses mate as always! Nice work
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
