Toughish week for tipping me thinking....
Crows should win easy enough
GWS should win easy enough
Richmond should win easy enough
Then it gets a bit tougher after that...
You'd think Sydney should also win easy enough?!?!
Nth and Carlton seems a coin toss but surely if the Blues want to break the trend it starts by beating Nth
WC were pretty good against a team that were 3 down at the finish line but will the GC be better or worse having the opportunity to play two games in a row at OPTUS?
Essendon have had a bit of bite taken away from them but i expect it will go down to the wire with Port
Hawks have trouble with the Dees and i reckon Melbourne are going to take some beating until they think the are playing finals
I'd love to say the Saints are a chance ( i think they are one of the few who have won down there in recent years ) but they are a bit of a rabble but i expect that game to be pretty close also........

I have tipped crows gws and the tigers, but i dont think they will be easy wins. Collingwood were a different team last week after bucks actually tried something different. And freo are a different team to the rnd 1 team that got smashed by port (who will smash a few more me thinks).
I want to see a freo win, but my head say gws. I hope freo bring effort and a desire to move the ball quickky. Fyfe for another 3 charlie votes as well.
I am tipping north with no confidence whatsoever. Only because its in hobart. (Isnt it?)
I reckon there are some real mental issues at the dons. Port to win that one.
Hawks and melbourne should be a real good game. I think i have tipped the hawks.
Sydney and the eagles for me.
And the saints non existent forward line against the cats non existent defence.... tough one but i am going the cats.

You can already put a line through me in the tipping comp after tipping Carlton and Gold Coast last week amongst scores of 3 and 4 for the past fortnight but I digress...
Pretty bloody average round of footy and I'll back my boys for a thumping win but it's a bit of a downer without watching the new cult hero Ryan running around so I'm looking at you Rioli. I'm also willing to eat humble pie and admit that moving Gaff onto the ball has been a good move and he's actually winning his own ball in traffic but Simmo... Yeo is a midfielder so bloody play him there!!!
Will be interesting to see how my undefeated Black Ducks go against the Subi juggernaught after giving Peelmantle a touch up on the weekend with young Reidy kicking a lazy 4 snags on debut. Gotta admit I did not expect much this season so to be 2-0 is a nice surprise.

Will be happy to drop a gws tip for a freo win. I have liked what i have seen last two weeks rather than the rnd 1 crap they dished up. Taberner and mcarthy are getting better supply and mccarthy playing further up the ground is a better structure. Some of his inside 50 delivery against the suns showed the midfielders how they should be doing it. Spearing lace out paces onto the leading forward's chest.

Looking forward to the pearce / cameron match up. Pearce is going to be our next mcpharlin kept dixon to a goal in the port onslaught. Daniher goaless and lynch got one from a down field free kick.
In essence he has had one goal kicked on him by three of the best key forwards in the game.

I havent seen a great deal
I havent seen a great deal of either but i reckon shuey is more damaging to the opposition. Lachie neale gets 40 odd possessions regularly. 20 of them go to the opposition. Luke ryan had 20 possessions against the suns at 100% efficiency. I would rather that than a player who gives it to the opposition.
For mine, its all about where on the ground a player gets possessions and how effective they are. Particularly score involvements. Those are the most damaging possessions. I think mundy had 10 against the bombers. A lot like Cyril. He may only get 10 possessions a game but he hurts the opposition with every one of them.

You've used quite a simple equation there Randall, how I view it is... While Tom Mitchell is winning most clearances and getting the ball 45 times he's starving someone else of it.
So far the amount of times I've seen the ball go inside 50 because of something he's done is huge. If you keep the pressure on in the fwd half and have good crumbers in there eventually you'll score.
Hawthorn smashed Richmond in clearances. Should've won the game. Were too predictable going forward and with no Sicily reading the play going back the other way the Tiges were scoring too easily!
I think it's laughable people STILL aren't taking him seriously!
I hope that continues and that boy will ruin teams dreams.
Oh and yes the way Shuey chooses to play certainly is damaging to teams, go back and watch the Port Adelaide game Last year. Talking about ruining dreams!
