Injuries dont help (having Rioli and Burgoyne back would be nice...) but are not the reason. Can't speak for timboon but myself personally am not overly worried (doesnt mean I am not unhappy with the performance though), seeing as the Hawks right now are still a work in progress. If that game was last year the Roos would've gone onto win by a hundred points as the Hawks would've gone fetal position. At least they were able to fight their way back in for some respectability but you can't go conceding 50 point half time leads and then try and win, seeing as they no longer have the quality across each line like in years past.
They probably have exceeded expectations a little so far and these sort of losses will happen. Good to see Bruest back to his best, Jarman Impey is looking a quality pick up and I am coming around to Ricky Henderson. Inevitable that Mitchell would have no influence at some point. Some serious concerns with O'Brien doing jack shit, Burton having a tough time after a great year previous, Roughy doesn't look right and a few other passengers that aren't really going anywhere career wise. Could've been 4-1 but its 3-2 with the Saints next week.
