Headed out on friday for a fish and a dive,my bro and his mate wanted to dive the Lumps.

Well after lunching at Quindalup,and magic conditions we headed straitght to the lumps,we arived and they got straight into a their first dive,well after they got in

i throw my line in but only little pecky fish.

Then they surfaced i was looking for all the fish that they would have speared,but only came up with one Baldy,about 55cm.

with some time in our hands before their second dive, we moved to a near by spot for a fish.

The first drop i got a double header, A little sambo and a Swallow tail.After a few more drift and a couple nice bites.I then and a good take.

With The Stella 8000sw drag screamin and tcurve bending, I pulled up a 1m YTK. 

Well after that it was time to move near Sugarloaf,for their second dive..We got there and they hoped in..I had a bit of a fish catching a nice Leatherjacket,and my dad had a nice strike on a live wrasse,but didnt hook it.

Me and the old man we just saying that my bro's mate would have spear a Blue groper.....

Then they surfaced,they got to the side of the boat,and i grabed their dive bags and guess what my bro's mate had..........A Blue groper (65cm),and a queen snapper they also had a couple crays.

We after they where in the boat i wanted to have a drift there before heading home...

So after drifting for about 15 mins and some good bites,using some cuttle fish and rock crabs..i was on, It felt like a very nice fish,bending the tcurve,but i had my Stellas drag a bit tight and the hooks pulled..........

I was soo pissed,thinking that could have been the blue groper i have allways wanted to catch.....

Well after that they wanted to head home, so we called it a day, with a Yellow Tail Kingfish,Baldy,Swallow tail,Blue groper and a couple crays in the esky...

Was a great day apart from loosing that fish....
