Never caught any on jigs
Lots on bait, skinned occy or half squid heads .......many many more further north, Jurien and Leeman they are common to the point of being a bloody nuisance even more out on the islands in very shallow reefy country.....take your neighbours offer and learn from him. All of mine this season have come from hard flat coral country in the 40,s but what has surprised me is how large they are this season, 6 - 7 Kg specimens and have broken my pbs several times over the last two months

prolific fish
Have caught them in 100m off Perth to less than a 1m of water at the Abroholos, Occy, Squid, Cuttlefish or fresh baitfish fillets will work. Most I have ever seen was at the Islands in very shallow water cheers Ace
