Full sounder set-up finally ordered but what maps?

 Hi Fellow fishwreckers,

So i have just locked in my sounder set-up for the new tub consisting of:

Simrad NSS EVO3S 12"

S5100 sonar module

S3100 sonar module

TM265LH Transducer

Active Imaging HD 3 in 1 High/Wide Transducer

Which should give me everything i need for all my fishing/diving methods.

The only thing in the system yet to decide on is which map card to run?

You see all these claims to have this and that by these mapping companies but what i almost didnt realise is that some of these fandangle programs are only available in certain places around the world!

So what i am reaching out about is what card do all of you use that has the most features that work and have regular updates when used in WA?

 Navionics.

also can you explain why you need the 5100 and 3100 modules ? I understand the nssevo12s can run these transducers without them?

thanks lads i might navionics platinum then.

The s5100 runs 3 independant channels for sonar so you can display 2 independant frequencies at the same time on one screen without loosing clarity on either channel/frequency. also dramatically increases clarity from standard and provides a much clearer target seperation, bottom discrimination and a lot less noise through the entire water column.

The s3100 only adds a HD format to the preinstalled active imaging, however this does give you the fish reveal function on downscan and sidescan which i know will be useful to some of my fishing! The activeimaging HD 3in1 tdx is 600w as the original sidescan is only 300w from what i am aware so wanted the 600 for more power to enable sidescan use at a greater depth and further side coverage.

Bit of coin but hey, i dont buy brand new boats all the time so i thought "why bloody not"

Gonna throw a spanner in the works, but CMAP Reveal is insane off Exy and up North where i fish. I have had both and definetly prefer the CMAP reveal.
