Furuno 1870F plotter Zoom

Just wondering if anyone has answer to my problem.. I just used my new Furuno 1870F for the first time last weekend and found I couldnt zoom the plotter scale down any lower than 50 metres.. this isnt enought to find the small holes and ledges I normally fish.. am I doing something wrong ? the Humming bird 917 it replacesd could zoom down to 5 metres.

check the card
just check you still have the map sd card in the unit
when i was copying waypoints to my from a sd card. The unit would only let me zoom in to the range before i took the map card out

Got it sorted.. went onto the
Got it sorted.. went onto the furuno USA forum site and found I could zoom into 2 metres by changing settings in custom mapping.

furuno 1870f help
Hi all, i have had the JRC ff30 since 1999 and Navman tracker 5500 since 2004.I now have the Furuno 1870f(installed October 2014)does anyone know where I can get hands on training, to set up sounder. I have been out using the unit and just getting stuck getting thru menus for manual settings/fishfinder and highway mode on plotter(not working?).I have a list of the set ups I need.
