Furuno 588

Hi guys
Ive just purchased a furuno 588 with a tm260 and reading the manual and trying the settings it says you cant use the rezboost, bottom discrimination or accu fish if you have the 1kw or 600 watt transducer selected in the settings
Was hoping someone can confirm this is correct or am I wrong, seams very weird that this would be correct
Any info would be appreciated

That's correct. Those
Only certain transducers listed will give those features, when you select the generic 600w or 1kw you don't get Rez boost or bottom discrimination.

Mate I've
got the same setup and only ever use it manually anyway.
Practice at home and on the water with the settings and you'll get a much better return from your 588 than if you use the auto features .
