Game on

Finally got my ass back to West Oz from TI and picked up my truck and trailer. Duralite have more than delivered the goods with the trailer, all 10.5m and 1399kgs of boat hauling beauty!. Dragging it up to Carnarvon tomorrow to spend the next three weeks finishing and sea trialling the big duck. Happy days me thinks.

Hope all goes to plan for you . Certainly looks like it will do the job altho with a boat the size it is I thaught it would have been triple axle

Not needed.

The boat comes in at a shade under 4000kg, each axle is rated to 4000kg plenty of wiggle room. Three axles and you're going to start popping hubs when you try and move the trailer in tight spots. Can't wait to get the fat duck onto it.

It's my old mans pride and joy. I almost had to get a permit to park on it!. She's a uuuuge piece of kit no doubt. Did the run up from Mandurah to C'von yesterday 12.5 hrs for 967 km, not too bad for a one man show. Trailer towed like a dream. One of my favorite features are the air brakes and the ability to use them independently from the trucks brakes, pull the lever in the cab and it feels like someone's grabbed the back of the trailer with a very, very firm hand. Nice having brakes on all wheels me thinks. Time to go down the yacht club and get into it!. Bakery first though!.
