Well we have booked a house for shark bay,Sept. to Oct. Previous times up there we have only had a small boat but this time we will have a brand new Maurtech Marine cuddy cab, 5.5m with 115hp and 145lts of fuel to burn!!!
I am not chasing any specific marks or spots for fishing further from Denham, more just general information about depth, distances and what we could expect to put in the esky...would love to hear about anyones adventures up there around that time of year...
Happy fishin..

Weather can be hit or miss,
Weather can be hit or miss, but in Denham if it's a hit you'll never want to leave, flattest water you'll ever be on. Typically in October the 30kt SE winds start which low up the bay ruining everything. I was there same time last year for 10 days, had 4 glassoffs, 3 days of southerly and 3 okay days. The bombies around bent pin are a good place to start if you want to stay in the bay you can also head north or south there's plenty of ground to sound and find stuff. Obviously there's steep point and turtle bay if you get magical weather, but also monkey Mia too if the winds are better over there, goodluck mate
