Always herring there, can troll plastics and metals or you can anchor and burley. Good chance of skippy and juvi sambos if you burley up. Heaps of wrasse which is a pain. Best area to anchor is on the inside anywhere near where the rocks stop and the first bridge pylon, thats where I get most of my fish.

Cockburn Sound Rokkie side ............humungous skippy are commonplace on a rising tide .....not under the bridge but the first twenty or so metres of groin, whitebait works well

My best a little over three kgs so worth fishing light for some real fun

Sunshine hit the nail on the head, that corner produces the most fish. I use 3inch plastics but whitebait and baby mulies will also work. Last summer I was fishing there when a school of 15kg sambos came through smashing all the herring, gardies and yellowtail on the surface. Good little spot when its too rough outside
