Gimble belt/harness?
Submitted by SPESS on Mon, 2007-10-22 13:48
Hi guys i was just wondering if you could sugest a good low cut gimble belt to jig with but also one that could have a back harness attached to it for standup game as well. Ive got a blackmagic one thats surved me well for years but its time for retirement. Any ideas would be great on quality that wont brake the wallet to much as i know they can get expensive. Thanks Chris.

Equaliser
I use the Black Magic Equaliser Harness and Gimbal set up. It's $335 but quality. The fact that you can take off the gimbal and leave it off until a strike happens is good, you just slip in the tabs and then fight the fish. I sell them Spess but out of stock atm, got more coming in.....approx 2 weeks.
I also sell the Alutecnos gimbal belt but it's not a complete system!

Belt up!
Braid all the way for stand-up - really beautiful rigid back harness and contoured gimbal belt, just perfect for a bent-butt short stick.
The tops for jigging is without doubt the offering from SevenSeas, pricey, but lots of lovely colours!
