GLADIATOR Fishing Tackle

 

2008 was a breakthrough year for GLADIATOR and 2009 looks to be even better. Our policy of only dealing with suppliers who are manufacturers and not marketing companies has put us in the enviable position of being able to supply to Aussie anglers state of the art equipment immediately following it’s release. All our products are developed or selected to suit Australian fishing and it’s demands, this ensures that buying a GLADIATOR product means you are buying quality. We have been in the Aussie market since 1896 so we know a little bit about Aussie fishing and its demands.

 

Banax are still one of the only reel manufacturers that make all their products in their own factories. This means that all QC is done in house and provides the angler with a far superior product to those that are farmed out to generic manufacturers. Banax have built a reputation on tough reliable reels and each year they keep reinforcing this. Have a look at the range and realise how good these reels are.

 

Tortue is still an institution in the fishing line market. No one has come close to replicating the abrasion resistance of the Super Control IGFA line. The Super Control is still the go to line for serious game fisherman. Other notable lines in the range are the NG Graphite low stretch line, Nacrita estuary line and the BIG Bang Nacrylan braid.

 

ASSO fishing line is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of innovative fishing line. They have developed a co-polymer fishing line that is fluorocarbon coated so you have all the quality characteristics of a co-polymer but with the added abrasion resistance of fluoro. Also the fluoro doesn’t hold water so you get better casting distance. They have developed a high-stretch 100% fluorocarbon which goes against all properties of fluoro. They have a leader material that we call clear wire which can be bent into shape and then straightened out.

 

IMA Japanese lures are set to be released in March this year. There are already a few jig anglers who know the quality of this product and are eagerly waiting for our release date. They also manufacture a huge range of spinning lures all of which are equipped with Owner or Cultiva hooks and Owner split rings. IMA is one of Japan’s fastest growing lure manufacturers and we are confident they will be a huge hit with Aussie anglers.
