GME MT406G EPIRB Battery Replacement

 Hi

 

My GME406G EPIRB purchased from Whitworths is due for battery replacement - when purchased it came with a "free" battery replacement once the original one has expired.

 

Has anyone gone through the "free" battery replacement process with GME?

How did it go?

How much did freight cost and who did you use?

How long did the process take?

 

Not sure whether to go down the replacement battery route or just bight the bullet and by a new one???

 Hi Barry , Take it into GME in bibra lake and they will sort it for you at no cost. It took about 3 weeks for mine.
