Gnaraloo

Heading up to Gnaraloo in September, just wondering if anyone has done it by 2wd, towing a small dinghy? (4m)
Did it last year minus the dinghy, just wondering if anyone has had a crack at it.
Cheers

Awesome!
Good shit, was getting a bit worried about the drive up!
I'll launch down the gnaraloo bay, I called the guys up at the station last night and they said should be able to help me out.
Otherwise, do it by hand haha

Launching
Hi Yak
I head up to Gnaraloo every year. There are some very decent metal grills on the beach to help you launch. Drag them down and then don't forget to take them back up the beach. They help with traction. I am there in July so i can let you know how it goes.

Cheers dave,
That should work well provided the sand isn't too soft, keen to hear how it goes in July though. Be good to see what's being caught!

the green one's
There are 4 heavy duty green tracks but they may have been privately owned . Eveyone there used them but they seemed a bit flash for the station to provide lol
A fair bit more sand there and at 3 mile than years before - head away from the point about 50-100m to launch in deeper water .

Tracks
Are the big silver ones still there?
Hope you get some more reds like the one you are holding sea-kem. I heard the water North is going well at the moment.

Quick report guys. We've only
Quick report guys. We've only had one days good fishing as the weather has been bloody atrocious, but looking to get out tomorrow. We have managed to boat a nice Dolly trolling the deep divers. Also had a good bag of Rankin, Baldchin and Cornation Trout. Will post some pics on our return next week.

il be there in september
il be there in september aswell ! we are in two minds of towing the 4.5 meter alli up or just hitting it landbased. first time up there what do you fellers suggest is it worth paying the extra in fuel to drag it up that time of year ? be there for about 5 days.
and any tips ;) got my eye on some landbased softie action with the spanglies and maybe a big tailor or two would be nice, hope to get into some larger stuff aswell.
cheers smitty.
