Gnaraloo successful fishing trip

just a few pics from a recent trip to gnaraloo, some of the best fishn ever :)
personal best goldband approx 8kg
first drop day 1, nice rankin
hoota cobia on 6kg gear doin laps round the boat
a taste of day 1 we were pumped, didnt need many days to get our bag :)
the weather was amazing for a few days before it turned sour but exmouth turned it on for a few days, another story and many more memories followed .

yeah adam im not gonna lie, an amatuer move taking the trigger, a mate caught it and thought it was a leather jacket. wasnt till i felt the armour and skin lol that we all started askin the question? um is it edible haha? we never found out luckily by the sound of it...
the depths to fish are 40-100m weather permitting
one thing i did notice up there was the definitive bite times which were obvious to us by the end of the third day. we were getn messy each night and sleeping in till lunch time with not a care in the world knowing an arvo bash was gonna pay off...plus the other boat that was with us went to my marks early morning and got bugger all :)

was the best fight id had on light gear.ive got spanish mack, dhuies, rankin cod, sambos etc but the cobia was non stop power till the end. did the full lap around boat .got so excited i cut my finger tryin to eki it
