going to Denham

I will be going to fish around the Denhan area for a couple of days late November.with a couple of mates.

Anyone know of any good areas worth trying?

Any local info will be of use as I don`t know the area.

  Thanks

     Higgy.

We will be land

We will be land based.

Although we might consider on a boat charter for a day or so, if anyone can recommend a boat worth going on.

We are interested to know what can be caught from the shore in the Denham or Monkey Mia areas.

UNREAL FISHING CHARTERS

I would like to thank-you for the recommendation you gave for Unreal Fishing Charters.

We have just got back to the freezing cold in the UK. ( temps @ minus 2 to minus 6 overnight ).

But we had a great days fishing last Thursday up the top end of Dirk Hartog Island close to Turtle Bay.

Errol was a nice bloke full of useful information & his sons on the boat were marvellous.

We caught various fish species & generally had a good time , including the bumpy ride back.

I would recommend anyone interested to contact Errol at Unreal Fishing Charters who will go out of their way to ensure you have a great days fishing.

Try the Pearl Barge

you can turn in about a k before Monkey Mia and the track will turn back towards Denham - this will take you down onto the beach directly opposite the Pearl Barge. Usually good for bream and flathead. Also the beaches south of Denham - Eagle Bluff and those further south will produce something. Squid at night off the jetties and if you feel like the drive, go into the National Park and drive the 15 odd k's to the end - always good for big yellowfin on the incoming tide but as hot as hell in mid summer.
