good day on the water

Last night while beach fishing at trigg beach myself and dad had a phone call of Steve... Asking if we were keen enough to go out for a fish, dad wasnt to sure weather he was aloud but i was still keen.... we ended up convicing mom that the frezzer was a tad empty, and managed to go hehehe. 9:30 am after having to vote for day light savings.. headed to load and pack the boat up we were on the water by 10 10:30ish... are destanation a long way a way to catch a fish or more.... the way out...

The first decent fish of the day to write home about was what was thought to of been a HORSE of a dhuie.... DAD nearly busting a valve...

Then the young fella had to help him out...

And the result of that...

after trying to get some more fish of that spot we moved at went for a nosey... The BOSS AT WORK...

We pulled a few off this spot.. the ones that went back were owww.. hurt my finger fish, Sgt. Baker's, undersize pinkys..and dhuies to name a few Here is a few pics of some one we kept all legal... KG Whiting This whent 50cm and 1kg...

And a nice baldy...

And last but not least.... a nice dhuie

and no pics of me cose im camera shy.... we had a bit of side chop on the way home wich made for a bit of a bumpy ride but all in all a fine day..... cheers steve for taking us out...

Looks like you guys had a good day out. Better than being stuck at home for the weekend.

Not sure how much help you were to the old man Andrew. Your not putting much of a bend in that rod. Tongue out

I'll PM you and organise to meet you at Tackle Shack during the week.

And I think that Tim is alluding to the fact that your old man is fighting the fish with the rod bent double, then you took over to "help him out" and it barely looks like you have a sinker attached.

Its exactly the same rod/reel unless my eyes are decieving me........
