Good Large Filleting Boards?

Hi there, Not sure if this is posted in the right place or not...
Just wondering what people use (other than ironing boards) for large filleting boards when they get their fish home?
Found a good Rapala one but can only get from the US. Basically something that's washable/durable plastic.
Sick of hubby getting p*/* with his set up!!
Thanks for any help

Yep, a good 1.5m+ stainless bench for filleting a good sized fish is a blessing.

Stainless benches

Brayco do stainless benches and shelves. They are in Perth and have a good website.
A stainless bench can get expensive, but for $209, you can get one of their wall mounted shelves (1500mm x 450mm).

You can put some temporary leg supports under the corners when working on larger fish.

kitchen sink

My last filleting table was an old stainless kitchen dual sink from the tip shop.
Easy to make a box frame up with legs and gives you room for 2 people to fillet if required. cost me about $25 all up.

I just bought a stainless bench for filleting and it is awesome! can be costly though.

I use a big stainless bench acquired from renovation works on shops..

but before that I used to use an Lvl  structural timber beam

u might find an offcut of an Lvl on a building site ask chippies if it's OK to take

+1 on the cheap fold away

+1 on the cheap fold away tressle table. Quick and easy to set up on the back lawn, stable, easy wash down with a hose handy, right height and the rough plastic ones arent as slippery as stainless steel, and if its filleting dedicated you can cut on them with out killing a $100 knife.
