Hi guys
I recently got given a gopro and want to do some underwater footage the first thing l want to do is attach it to a crad drop net.
I have gone through about 50 of my mounts with no secure mounts.
What type of mounts do you guys recommend l should use?.
Thanks in advance

Just use cable ties to
Just use cable ties to whichever rope or section of the net you feel will give you the angle your after.
As long as you don't have one covering the lens it's all good.
Also make sure you thread a decent cable tie through the mounting holes on the bottom of the case and secure it to a decent part of the net.
My fishing spots are so secret........... even the fish don't know where they are !!

Did you keep the big flat
Did you keep the big flat mount it came in the box with? I used that one when I sent mine to the bottom of Cockburn sound.

Yep
Yeah l have thought of that. Do l just drill 4 holes in each corner then tie it down with wire. How did you attach it to the net.
thanks

I didn't put mine in a crab
I didn't put mine in a crab net, rather a dive weight with a bit of bait on. Light line in front of it with a chunk of squid on to look for fish.
Big flat surface makes the camera nice and stable.
And yes to a hole in each corner. I used cable ties though wire will do the same job.
