Guilderton tips?

Heading up next weekend for 2 nights. 

Any tips?

Will have the kids in tow and don't have a boat so need to keep it fairly basic.

Plenty of bream in the river and bread and butter fish up near the mouth too. Sunrise and sunset could see you some tailor off the beach too

 Feb weekend at sunrise I got no tailor off the beach. Friends 7-830am is got plenty of herring one day and none the next.
