Gull deaths at Woodmans Point

Hi there guys,
Woodmans point has been closed due to the discovery of 140 dead gulls, There not quite sure what caused it but are investigating. Until then woodys point has been closed, personally i think ill stay away from there until there figured out what did it.

Don't know if it's the case now, but there were times when the seaweed (mostly ribbon) would build up on that little beach between woodmans and wapet that SC would take place and it would be smouldering and very hot underneath.
Doubt that would be the case though.

Maybe the gulls saw the size of the potholes in the road on there way into the boatramp...and died of fright !
