Had a good couple days on the water

After waking up without a hangover yesterday I decide to take the tub out at the gentlemans hour of 1pm. The Garden Island boat ramp was that full I had to park the car on the main road!?!

Anyway, pancake condiitons, but the water wasnt as clear as I had hoped. I shot this Dhu yesterday out of a reef system that I now call the castle on the Five Fathom bank, freediving in around 15metres. He went 78cm and just under 8kgs on certified scales. Saw him and approached steadily and slowly acting uninterested. He turned and presented a good side on shot, I drilled him through the cheek and bearhugged the fish for the surface. 

Also line caught a PB squid, 33cm hood and just under 1kg weight on certified scales on Saturday. 

Weather was magic on the weekend.
