in close under water,to the ass.ole ,who stole my sons pots ,i hope carma gets you,first year doing pots, gone in less than a week.got a boat rego no fisheries will not be called,,sad when people steal gear of a young fella,very bad move,thanks to lovely old couple got rego ,(not a member of any fish site) how pi-s weak are some low lives ,i know iam not the only 1 to loose gear,when my kids get robbed, diff story,bad bad move,

I usually dive for crays, but convinced a mate at work to have a go with pots. He started and eventually found them and was getting heaps, until the weekend. His pots had been pulled and he motored around for 50 minutes before finding both 600 meters away from his mark. Not happy
Second mate checked his pots at 0430, all empty and 200 meters away when he was getting heaps. The poachers must be out there at midnight????

i had my gear ID scratched
i had my gear ID scratched into my pots aswell as the floats but still doesnt help, i keep an eye out on gumtree every so often for people off loading a heap of cheap pots. If anyone ever comes across any pots with ID NB0182 scratched in them located just above the escape hatches can you please inform me, this now makes six years in a row they have been taken!

Can I just say that I don't understand why you don't want to report it to fisheries, transport, or water police???? we can all sit on this site and bitch and moan about pot thieves and it's not going to stop them. If you have a boat rego, you can report it with a good chance that you'll get your pots back, or the thieving pr..ks will get a wake up call and think again. even if you don't report it for your benefit, think of all the others that have had pots stolen and that they may actually want you to pass on the information to police.
