HI
On a few different trips i have caught sml hammerhead sharks,
once in the sound and twice out from garden island. Last saturday
when doing my rst practical i guy came in and he had caught one also.
Anyone else caught them locally and where? Seems they maybe a few around the area.
What other sharks have you caught around rockingham? Great to eat to!
Rodrat.

Last year there were heaps
Last year there were heaps of them arround. Taste shit though I reckon.
Locally I have caught hammers, gummies, whiskeries and wobbies. Out deeper the bronzies are more common.
The odd small mako in close. Netted a free swimmer once about 2ft long that was chasing the whiting we were catching just behind GI.
Years ago little blacktips made an appearance over summer but I havn't seen one of those down here for years. Friggin millions of them in Headland thou.
