Has anyone got the Garmin Striker plus 9sv (question)

Hi all. Just have a question someone may be able to answer. I’m looking at the Garmin striker 9sv but I’m getting mixed reports on the Side Veiw depth capabilities. I’m fishing normally around the 45mtr mark. Reviews I’ve read say it will work up to 150mtrs but the shop staff tell me it will be on its limit at 45mtrs. Is this correct? Who do I believe?
I was hoping someone on here might have one and can give me some first hand info please.
Thanks in advance.

I have the Garmin Echomap
I have the Garmin Echomap 75sv and they have the same GT52 Transducer.
The depths for each application at planning speed has been -
Sonar 50mts
Downscan 25mts
Sidescan 10mts
If you read the specs the transmission power is only 250 watts!!
And was designed for the US Freshwater lakes Fishing.
I am updating to the GT51 ($650) as it is the recommended transducer for saltwater. And has twice the power.
