Have I been sold a pup
Tackle World are having a huge Shimano sale at the moment. One of the items they have on sale at a very very low price is Shimano Waxwing lures (all sizes).
Now, looking up the price of some of these lures shows that the same lures are retailing around $25-$28 bucks.
Tackle World is selling these lures at 3 for $10-00.
I rushed down and brought $3 worth. I've had a close look at the packaging, the lures themselves and an original waxwing and I'm damned if I can see any difference. The proof of the pie will come tomorrow when I'll take them down to the estuary and have a play with them.
I have been of the belief that if something appears to good to be true then it probable is just that, to good to be true.
If these lures perform ok tomorrow then I'll be back to get a few dollars more of them.
Now, the big question, has anyone on here experienced anything like this, massive massive reductions on very good products, are they original or faked (and bloody good if they are faked)
Your views are sought.
I must make this very clear. I am not in any way connected to Tackle World what so ever (repeat). They just happen to be the company that has some lures I believe are at a truly good price, but are the lures originals.

They are the real deal mate,
They are the real deal mate, that sale you went to I was also there, it's a once a year sale that particular store or stores have once a year. I picked up a few good bargains, wrapped prices can't be beaten.

Going to chase salmon & tailor
I'm going to chase some salmon (if I can locate any) and also going to have a crack at some tailor in the sound. I have read in a few places that they are a good lure for tailor in skinny water as the hooks are up turned and the lure runs quite shallow.
That's the plan any way.
