HDS 7 gen 1 sounder shot - whiting ground

Shortly going to upgrade this old girl and thought I would post this from the weekend where we pulled a bucket load of whiting, still works ok but due for some new technology I think. What you reckon? Weed or thick whites?

If you are likely to upgrade that lowrance first gen unit soon, what sort of money would you be looking for the unit?
im in the process of searching for a basic tinnie and a unit like that would be of ok use to me, if you are going to upgrade it anyway.
Let me know either via this thread or pm, what you think.
there is certainly smaller units on the market with more features nowadays, however if it helps you with the upgrade and gets me something that at least tells me the depth of the water, it's a win win really.

yep i will be interested, would be head unit, bracket & cable - no transducer & no card as i will continue using these. $550
