Heading back to Port Smith Lagoon in Sept!!!

Last year in May I went to Port Smith Lagoon south of Broome and had a great time on foot fishing in the lagoon and around the cliff areas to the north. Since going I've been dreaming of going back, and I've just booked my flights (I live in Sydney) to get back there early September... Can't wait I'm so pumped. This time I'd like to explore the areas to the south of the lagoon.. Looking at Google Earth the outcrop to the south known as 'False Cape Bossut' and the nearby creek looks pretty interesting.

Im wondering if anyone has any further info on this area or other tips about where to go to have a fish in this area. Last time I didnt use bait and was spinning with poppers, metals, SPs and hardbodies.. I intend to do that again.

Any tips or info.. anything to get me excited further!?!!?!? :-)

Hey mate I've only been there once but I remember seeing a few "no entry" signs off the main track, might pay to ring the caravan park and see what access is like. Top spot though, keep us posted on how you go.

Cheers good idea.. I remember last year at the van park they mentioned that they have an agreement with the locals but I'm not so sure where that extends to..
