Hi Guys
Im new here, just joined today.
Im wondering if I could get some help, i will be in Broome for one afternoon on the 30th July 2011.
Im bring a little 8kg baitcaster combo & would like to know where should I go for an afternoon flick with some plastics & hardbodies?? and what do you think I should be using for lures?
Im heading to Kimbereleys next morning for a week for a trip iv saved up for, for MONTHS now! very excited, getting my lure collection together, what do you think I should be taking?
any help on this would be much appreciated, thanks guys!

Are u just bringing the one
Are u just bringing the one rod? any idea what you're chasing?
Gold bombers, atomic paddle tails, halco twisties, roostas would be a good start.

Hoping to get some queenies
Hoping to get some queenies or Trevs from the shore, I know the jetty is good but I don't really wanna fish from it as I probably won't be able to get anything up.
I can only bring the one combo as I'm going on a sea plane to kimberleys next day & can only have 10-12kg of luggage (struggle).

JETTY!
Go to the end of the jetty and cast white soft plastics as far into the corner as you can. Should get queenies, trevs and maybe a makerel. Your best bet is on the change of the tide, preferably early morning or late afternoon. As long as someone around you has a pier gaff you'll be able to get them up, in my opinion the jetty is the best bet.. i was there for two weeks and it didnt let me down once.

Hey man, i was just using
Hey man, i was just using 7inch slams and gulps.. We also caught afew with hot pink and pearl slams as well, white was definitely the pick though. We were dead lifting some of the queenies with 30lb braid so thats always an option, just dont high stick the rod. There will always be some who will take your fish of your hands if you do need to gaff it.
