Heading West From Darwin ,need tips please on North W.A.

So we are Heading West then East .so after any info on blue crabs,and easy access places for a feed of scales,No tinny No 4wd Van and Trail blazer ,so any free campng spots would be awesome to .Only land based info will be awesome .
