was at hillaries on monday fishing various spots on the south wall; caught nothing but hooked up to a monster skippy of about 1.5kgs off the disabled platform. There was massive amounts of bream caught off the point at the lighthouse and the occaisonal skippy, herring and whiting.

went down at bout 11 30 till about 6 30. bought $10 worth of skippy at local fishmonger but left them in the bloody fridge so i had to sit with prawns and occy. caught two biggish yellowtail but the guys next to me were catching 3 whiting at a time. saw some bloody huge black bream (yes) just in front of the platform some would of easily weighed 1.5 kgs to 2kgs. there were heaps of people down there. some guy dropped off some nice sized whiting but i didnt manage to getr any.
at least it was a beuatiful day out there perfect wind perfect sun. i think i got a bit burnt though
