HELP- boat trailer repairs in carnarvon
Submitted by sparrow on Mon, 2013-05-27 07:43
Im wondering if anyone knows who could look at trailer repairs up in Carnarvon?
Travelling back to Perth on Friday last week had to brake hard for a roo and the winch post snapped sending the boat into the back seat of the car.....fun times!the trailer draw bar is bent and post will need replacing(if its not classed as a write off).
Good old Club marine want me to get it fixed up that way so they don't have to truck it back to perth or Gero but im having a hrad time finding someone. Any advice or details would be greatly appreciated!

thats a bummer
but message Carnarvonite.
and for travelling maybe think about straps and chains down to trailer frame at the bow to limit possible movement?
Also maybe ask CM to recommend someone, dont they include some sort of assistance package? If they cant then theyll need to stump up for the transport.
Probably find a truck backload at a reasonable price if you put it out there to the trucking mobs such as toll, Id be making those calls first up as well, otherwise might miss a good cash deal on an empty truck?

Benelong Transport, cheap from Carnarvon to Perth and a top bloke. 0409108637 Bobs the man. He transported two cherry pickers from C,von to perth for me when I was doing a job at the rebuilt BP servo for around $500 last year.

There are a number of places
There are a number of places in town that would be worth a look. Mick Coffey has a metal fabrication yard in Cornish Street. He fixed my boat trailer years ago.(Cornish St is where the IGA supermarket is...head towards the racecourse)
