HELP - Joining Furuno 585 with Furuno GPS1650
Submitted by DBZ on Tue, 2012-08-07 15:10
I've just ordered a cord to join my 585 with an older Furuno GPS1650 so that i can mark ground more accurately by using the 585 'mark' button.
I was expecting an easy 'plug one end into 585 and other end into GPS' situation but have received a cord with one pluggable end and the other cut off with open ended wires. (see pic)
I havent been down to the boat to look at where these wires could be fitted yet but didnt want to get down there and not know how to get it on. It didnt come with any instructions so any help/tips/instructions from anyone who has fitted this previously would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
