help with spinning outfit
Hi all new to this site.
hope some here can help.....Im looking for a new spin outfit. been fishing a long time ...quite a bit up north, and take the boat out past Rotto a bit.
had various bottom and top fishing outfits but looking to buy "one last outfit" lol sort of an allrounder.
Will be used for bottom bouncing as well as trolling ...not really into jigging but would like to occasionally go out and have fum with Sambos.
Like I said also to take up north Exmouth etc, boat fishing trolling and bottom bouncing mainly. run ito a few decent tuna etc
I realise it's pretty impossible to get the perfect setup for all but would like some quality gear.
have in mind the wilson live fibre venom PE3-8 ( seems great for my back !)
looking at a reel for it. Started looking at Saragosa 18000. (big heavy reel)
then ..seeing as Im planning to have this for a long time started looking up to the Stella 10000SW.
(only the stella is a high gear, and didn't think this really suited me)
does anyone have a stella high speed or similar that they bottom bounce with ?
and does the high gear make it that much harder to bottom bounce with?
Would I be better off with something like a Catalina 5000 ??? (Saltiga just too pricy)
one last question has anyone purchased these sort of reels from Ebay seeing as I can pick up a stella 10000SW for $720. and a new Catalina for $620 (assume it has no warrenty ??? is that right?)
any helpful comments much appreciated

hi mate , its pretty difficult to please everyone but in my experience my stella 8000sw and tcurve 200 spin loaded with 300m of good quality 50lb braid has been the best trolling,bottom bouncing,jigging (heavyish ) outfit i have used, there atrent too many things you cant catch on it and its a pleasure to use . cheers

hi mate ive got the standard geared one , i had the pg (low ratio) as well but there wasnt a real noticable difference so i sold it , go into your local tackle store or the site sponsor (oceanside) and ask to put one of these combos together for a feel . cheers

I have a 8000 Saragosa on tcurve 200 ( would have been a stella if i had the $$) Great combo not too heavy but solid enough to land macks, sambos etc etc
