If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

have a look at wilson live
have a look at wilson live fiber/texillium range if you dont mind one piece rods, not too keen on the Tcurve revolutions, much prefer the Tcurve bluewater range, these I have and have been good to me.

T-Curve
Hi grayzee,
I looked at the specs for this rod myself and thought it sounded perfect for an all-rounder. I'm stuck up north, so ordered it sight unseen, only to find it wasn't really what I was after. Would be great for live-baiting and maybe trolling/light jigging but it's not ideal as a casting rod in my opinion (too much of its length taken up by grips).
I'd suggest that you actually get to a tackle shop to get a look and feel for it before you buy it (as I should have done), as you might find one of the other t-curves or some other rods are a better match for what you are after.
If you do happen to find the perfect all-rounder rod let me know, as I'm still looking. I suspect it's like the perfect boat; an impossible dream to find one that suits all applications. Still, it's a lot of fun experimenting and I'm just about to head down to Port Smith for a few days where I'm going to try out my latest attempt at the perfect light-weight, all-rounder, mostly shore based, 7ft spin combo (Terez 7'2" 15-30lb and Sustain 5000).
Cheers,
Mathew.

I've got one and to be honest
I've got one and to be honest I don't find it that great. More of a 6-8 kg rod. Not much more.
King mac spin might be closer to what you are looking for.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

I had a hearty rise sylphy
I had a hearty rise sylphy which would have been perfect. I sold it to a mate who uses it now for light popping/barra livebaiting and he loves it. It jigged a few dhus for me in my time as well. I sold it because i upgraded to a dedicated jigging rod. I know it doesnt help as there no longer made but pop up second hand every now and then. Retailed for around 300
