Caught a couple of Herring tonight, also had a whiting out as a live bait which some inconsiderate fish stole...

My son got a good haul off
My son got a good haul off the beach saturday night, I ended up filletting them dipped in tempura batter and deep fryed tastie. Or as deepwater said on the BBQ little lemon pepper hard to beat
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.

Fillets & On the bone
Kept six on the bone and filleted the rest. The old man has a special trick with fish fillets, coats them in chick pea flour. Works a treat, doesn't seem to go sloppy like normal flour does sometimes. Also tastes pretty good too.
