Hey all havent been out for a fish for ages so thought would get down somewhere local for some bread and butter fish. Got to south mole about 4 and got the odd herring here and there, along with a few skippy. Birds where diving and started catching some good size slimeys which was fun on the light gear. About 6 the herring just went absolutely mad with a fish a cast. They would hit the bait before you had time to flip the bail arm over and get the line tight. Ran out of berley but were so thick just put a small rock in my plastic burley cage for distance and was pulling them in still fish a cast. Dropped two which would have almost hit 30cm. Didnt bother with photos of sorry but great fun for a feed and to top up on some bait:) Left em biting!
