hillarys small tailor

was fishing at hillarys this morning just next to the aqua car park round the back.not much to report but i did catch my first small tailor.Caught it about 8AM on a mullie on size 5/0 triple ganged hooks about ten metres out with a weighted pulley rig on the bottom.hope this maybe helps anyone who is interested in fishing the area.cheers

Were you targeting Tailor? 5/0 is a pretty big hook/gang for your metro tailor I reckon. Big fan of Tailor myself. First of many hopefully?

I was hoping for a mulloway or snapper after these storms to be honest.a guy I spoke to said there was plenty decent snapper taken from hillarys on fri even during daylight. I am happy catching sharks etc as I only fish for the sport, don't really eat fish but have a fishing obsession!
