Honda 150 vtec hours & transport

Hi guys I am looking at getting a second hand 150 vtec honda, how many hours are too many?
and it is a fair distance from me so I would pick it up with a trailer, can I lay it down after draining the oil and filter ?

hours
hours aren't really an issue on modern motors. If serviced regularly and correctly you can expect to get up to 6 or 7000 hours as pro's do before replacing. My 225 yamaha has done 1100 and performs as new. Any motor you get shold be serviced before you use it by someone you trust. Transport shouldnt be a problem.

I would probaly lay it so
I would probaly lay it so the engine end is higher than the prop end. Not by huge amounts, just pop a couple of blocks under it.
